A good friend of mine took me to a show when BOX SET performed in a little venue in Orinda, CA. a few years ago. I went with very low expectations. She said they these two guys were friends of hers in college. WHAT A GREAT TREAT! It was just Jim and Jeff on guitars and I was mesmerized by their obvious talent. They can both pick and they can both sing. Their voices are distinctively different and harmonize wonderfully. This is quality acoustic music, wonderfully told stories and consistently great songs. I believe they are no longer together (families and other responsibilities) and that is too bad. You are going to want to get everything they have done. Their live music has great energy and they are both very funny. If you appreciate well written songs and great guitar work get some BOX SET MUSIC!
