The Loved Ones and their two great songs, Everlovin' Man and The Loved One were more a part of my music and youth than I had realised until I received this album. Nor did I recall for 50 years how brilliant each was and remains. The remainder of the album is more in the also-category as the group fulfilled Shakespeare's description of "seeking the bubble reputation even in the cannon's mouth", lasting but one year together. Is there a category for "two hit wonders"?CB
