At times I think rock music should be fun. This disc is all about fun rock and roll. It just flows fun.A wonderful mix of rock music and various samples I discovered this band via their Now For A Feast EP (vinyl).I own 2 versions of this CD. the standard versions and a re-issue with great glorious bonus tracks.A bit of trivia...there's a scene in The Great Outdoors where the kids are playing pool. --a 1988 John Candy/Dan Akroyd movie--In the background you can hear "Beaver Patrol" playing except it's without vocals. If you know WHAT the song is it's a GREAT In-Joke FOR that scene with the pool sticks; if you don't then it's just a groovy tune playing in the background.I don't know much about who's who in PWEI, but I own most of their CDs and some vinyl disc. A lot of their later songs reference current movies, fads or events so that the lyrics may now seem a bit dated. They are a great singles band and they make some awesome remixes. This CD is not as referential as the later ones but there is a swipe at Adam Ant [Hit the Hi-Tech Groove].I recommend this disc and the follow-up This Is The Day...[by the way---the band disappointed me with Touched by the Hand of Cicciolina; long story behind that title]
