Update:My Bass Player had an Electroharmonix Pitch Fork.We swapped pedals & the Electroharmonix sounded slightly better & tracked better bending notes. But additionally this Mooer sounded better on his Bass than the Electroharmonix. So for an additional $100 the Pitchfork is a little better on guitar. But for Bass this Mooer Colored the Bass a whole lot less. We permanently swapped & I played him the $100 difference.Main Use for Me is ReTuning my Guitar.I play in Eb, but Occasionally will use a HipShot to Drop the E String for "Drop D" (Drop Db since I'm down already), or Up to Standard. So in the Middle "Pitch Shift" Position (This is NOT Labeled Wrong, DeTune is NOT Drop Tune) this allows me to get to Drop C with -1In this Same Position we play a couple songs in "Standard Tuning" this is in the +1 Position. For this Purpose it works Very Well.I have a Whammy DT that I use with my Live Rig Specifically for this Purpose. Quite a Large Pedal for using what should have been in the Digitech The Drop... I guess Digitech figured people only wanted to Drop and Only move 1/2 of the Functionality...I think this one sounds as Good in my Practice Rig as the Digitech in my Live Rig, that I intend to try this in my Live Rig to see if it can Replace the Monstrocity that is the Whammy DT. From my Testing so Far I think I will be able to... I'll report back after I A/B these. One Note:Put this 1st in your Chain. That means Guitar Straight into this. It will work better if it doesn't need to deal with all the Harmonics added by Distortion Pedals and Such. Does it sound as good as having a 2nd Guitar tuned to Standard and a 3rd tuned to Drop C? No, but since it's only 3 Songs Up and 1 Song Down for me it is plenty good enough where I'll stick with this method over 2 more Guitars re-tuned instead of 2 more guitars for Backup/Changing up between sets.Update:Used this Live several Times. It works good for Electric, as I said I use it on just a couple songs, but it works as well as my Digitech Whammy DT to go up 1 or down 1 (Essentially Half Step, as we are in Eb it takes me up to Standard + I use it to get Drop C as -1 takes me down to D and I drop the Low String as you would in Drop D)Also used this for an Acoustic Gig, there I thought it thinned up the Guitar just a bit too much, so the Whammy will move to my Acoustic Pedalboard which doesn't have much on it anyways.
