So I took this box to my grand kid's house to have them color it. My son was irritated because they have lots of bins for the 2 and 4 year old already. But I colored the box with the kids, then he put it together. He put it together quickly, but only because he's done that kind of box assembly before. Still, it's not rocket science and anyone can do it. The kids had a lot of fun coloring it and putting stickers on. And in the end, because it's such a cool and sturdy box, he insisted on keeping it. It really is sturdy, much more so than bins. And you don't have to worry about little fingers getting caught in the lid and injured. I want to take some paints and try to make it look a bit better on my next visit as we only had crayons at the time. It's probably better for older kids to color it, ours is a complete disaster but they're proud of it. And that's what matters.
