Purchased this to place a diamond necklace in as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She loves dusty pink and what girl doesn’t love diamonds lol. SHE LOVED IT.NOTE: This box is Donald Trump YUGE. I was not expecting it to be as big as it was. However, I was pleasantly surprised. If I had to guess I would estimate it to be about 5-6 inches by 5-6 inches. I attached a picture from the opening of the gift for some point of reference.The pendant on her necklace was about the size of your index fingernail (see picture). Any fears I had about the ratio of the necklace to the box were immediately alleviated when she opened it and had the “OH” face.Fellas, no worries of “she might think it’s an engagement ring.” Trust me, the size of this box will immediately eliminate any of those wishful thoughts. This box allows you to show commitment without going pedal to the metal lol.There is an elastic band inside the box that cuts diagonally on the bottom left hand side. It’s perfect to hold a small card, note, and/or picture. I chose a small card and it worked amazingly.The material of the box is felt and can be easily cleaned with a sticky lint roller if need be necessary. Also, there are two tabs (one on the top left and right) of the bottom of the base inside the box. They are to hold the jewelry in place and work perfectly. Directly under the tab is a small cut out to place the chain as a secondary security measure, which also serves its purpose extremely well.There is a picture of my girlfriend holding the box for context. I wrapped it Russian Doll style (box in a box in a box in a box) (see picture of box with large bow attached) and when I tell you she shook the hell out of it and tumbled it around, I got kind of nervous. The necklace, to my surprise, stayed in place and wasn’t tangled or even turned around.Definitely recommend buying this. It’s worth every penny. Just keep in mind it is larger than your average jewelry box. The size, color, material, and unexpected features (who would think a jewelry box would have features) certainly justifies the price.
