I enjoyed this very much but if you're looking for John Williams playing Scarlatti and Barrios, this is not your cd. He does much research into the roots of his instrument and a happy result of that is this album with songs of Africa and Madagascar. As usual, John brings with him a shining array of musical companions to bring this music to life. Not Vivaldi. But then, you can't dance to Vivaldi;-D
