Easy to use and so nicely doneSuch detail on this product! Love this product. I smile every time I use it!I couldn't wait to get this and the price was irresistible! I go through quite a bit of coarse salt in a month and I was using either a round Ziploc container or a Rubbermaid one for a "Salt Vault" so imagine my surprise when I was looking through Amazon Warehouse Deals and this little baby popped up. And it was finally in my price range so I got this Tree of Life model. I had read reviews on how people were getting them with a chemical smell to them and the only smell that I got with mine was the treated wood that washes out after you wash it the first time. Don't run it through the dishwasher because you're just adding chemicals to the chemicals and they are supposed to be hand washed. I was able to put salt into mine immediately after it was dried and it didn't alter the taste of the salt. These are perfect for frequent salt and/or pepper, fresh or dried herb users. I wish I could have gotten a couple of more at that price for my pepper and granulated garlic. They hold about 4oz of product in them so if you're salting pasta water you might want to use the regular salt container. LOL!They have a magnetic closure and seal pretty well so I don't think that spices will go stale in them.Great purchases and I think that I AM going to buy the two coordinating ones for my regular spices. Thanks for the great deal Amazon! This does exactly what it says it does, and it’s beautiful. We leave it on the kitchen table for ad hoc sprinkling of flake salt. Would recommend.Works well and looks very nice. We like it both in the kitchen and on the dining room table. Makes a nice gift along with sea salt of choice.A salt box was the third item on my wife's Christmas List following: 1) sharp silver spurs and, 2) a riding crop. She loves to rub salt into the wounds. So always the pleaser, I chose this one. She's not going to return it, so I have a one in the plus column. ;-). A good decision. Be a winner. Go for it.This is a giftable gift it's made very well and have a nice looking design on top. I have two of them one is plan no design that I use for my salt box and this one will be for the pepper. No gaps between the lid & container. The animals burned into the top look great!Got this salt pot from Amazon US through their Global Store. Didn't have to pay any customs duty and it arrived within a week, obviously using Amazon's network of couriers. It's lovely salt pot with a swivel lid and a small magnetic lock to keep my salt fresh. Has the 'Tree of Life' laser etched into the lid which looks very good.Very good price compared to what you'd pay in the UK and I did my research first. Other online retailers in the UK wanted at least double the price and eBay was treble the price. If you're looking for a good-looking, functional salt pot, this is the one for you.Purchased this one for my salt and bought a fern patterned one (darker etching) for my pepper. They look lovely together.I love this. It's easy to access while I'm cooking and, after even 2 years, it's holding up well to my messy kitchen. I generally salt my food during cooking, not after it's served. The mechanism that swivels the lid is getting a bit loose after 2 years, but I'm still very happy with it.It is a salt box. An expensive salt box. Does the job,and the design is nice, but maybe too pricey for what it isThis was missing the top magnet and I couldn't exchange it, so I took a refund to replace the magnet. It's a beautiful container, so I wanted to keep it.
