He loves this! I wish the lid was hinged so he doesn’t lose it-and it won’t fit in his desk at school so they sent it back home, but otherwise it’s a cool tin!It's a nice tin, but I didn't recall reading in the description that there is a coin slot in the side so that was a surprise. See photos I've attached. It's also a bit larger than I had anticipated but it's still okay for my purpose. It measures about 10 inches long, 5 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The image is on the front(lid) and back of the tin, but the lid image is raised, which I think is really a cool feature. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it didn't say anything about the coin slot and it seems like an important feature to point out in case you wanted it to store smaller items. I don't love that it has it, but it's too late to find something else in its place so it will have to do - it's a gift.great gift! filled it with pencils and small gift items.
