**Don't let anyone see your unique QR Code until you scan it into your Keyforge Deck App!**Prices online may be a bit high for a while as most places are sold out, however, places like Barnes & Noble should have decks in stock for the correct price of $9.50+. Buy online if you don't mind paying a bit more.Keyforge is an interesting non-collectible new dueling card game from the mind of Richard Garfield (of Magic the Gathering, King of Tokyo, & Netrunner fame), each deck has a unique name and is a unique combination of 37 cards from the available card pool of about 400 including cards from 3 different factions. Each deck is a stand alone playable deck - decks are not to be altered in anyway (NOT a CCG like Magic the Gathering) and each deck plays slightly or hugely different from other decks because of that deck's included cards. Due to the Algorithm that defines each deck some might actually be too strong or even too weak, but you won't know until you play around with them, furthermore, some decks could be trash but might be great against very specific decks (there are also special game modes for just playing with bad decks too). KeyForge has you take the role of an Archon, a powerful god-like being who's goal is to open the ancient vaults on the world Crucible, but do do so you'll need precious Æmber to craft the keys, and you'll need minions to find the Æmber. Each deck also has a unique QR Code that will allow you to track and manage your deck through the free companion app, find events, and see what else is going on in Keyforge. Is the game fun though? Yeah it's actually really fun and opening up new decks is a genuine surprise (way more exciting than opening "booster packs" from other card games). Due to the low entry price it's an easy game to try out too, especially if you always wants to play a big bustling card game but never wanted to spend a lot of $$$. I'm a seasoned Magic the Gathering payer and used to paying $9 for a single card, so $9 for a whole playable deck is awesome! Can't wait to see how this game evolves over the next few years, really hoping it'll get big and stick around. Since it's a dueling game you'll need a deck and your opponent will need one also, but that's really it, maybe some dice or coins for counters too.Happy Keyforging, Archons!
