I rarely write reviews.First, for the criticism. I ordered two of the 18 inch boxes. They were both dirty. You would think that they would clean the product before packing and shipping. However, that's no reason to give less than five stars.Now, this product is excellent. The set that I bought exceeded my expectations in every respect. The people that built these have a good understanding of the needs of users in the gym and a good understanding of manufacturing. The materials are solid and heavy. The welding is very solid. The rubber platform on top grips well. These things are designed for heavy use in the gym. They will withstand very heavy use.For me, they also double as chairs. They look better than the pictures. The product was even packed very well except for the dirt.GoodThis is a great box for someone to use at home, but it does have weight restrictions. The underside of the box is made out of a cheap plywood and will most certainly break under rigorous use. I am a personal trainer and I needed this box for a wide range of clients. It will work great for the young girls I train but only after a few days of use the plywood is starting to crack. So once again it will be good for a lot of people but it doesnt suit my needs. And for $120, I feel it should be built better.As advertised and the positive reviews were right on. Strong frame, I think it will last a long time. Great platform, seems it is adhered well to the frame. Comes in one piece, so all I needed to do was remove the protective wrapping and it was ready to go. This piece gets my highest rating and I have been ordering plenty of Crossfit-related equipment through Amazon.This platform box works perfectly for doing Beach body Body Beast. I use it for Bulgarian squats and step up lunges. It is very sturdy. It is a lot better than my dining room chair I was breaking.
